.Jeff Knutson

Jeff enjoys the challenge of creating technical devices especially in the field of underwater exploration. When given the choice, he spends his time building something of his own design. Sometimes it's a boat and sometime it's an electronic device. He has designed and built a one atmosphere, one man submersible and  a research vessel made of steel. Besides the BROV, he has developed a passive  acoustic bottom characterization transducer and an acoustic positioning system for use with the submersible and BROV. An amateur computer programer,  he has developed many programs for use  with the electronic devices he has constructed. Jeff has been employed mainly with  aerospace firms and electronic systems manufacturers in the area of electronic development. He is currently a federal employee working for NASA.
